This quick slipper is knitted in one piece with just one little seam in the back. There is NO grafting required or fussy bind-offs to worry about.

Construction is pretty straight forward. You’ll start with straight needles to knit a rectangle in garter stitch, then join the piece in the round to continue the instep and finish the toe with a simple pull and gather.

Straight US Size 10.5 (6.5 mm) needles
DPN's US Size 10.5 (6.5m) needles
Bulky Weight AND Worsted Weight Yarn (shown HomeSpun and Fisherman's Wool)
Two stitch markers and one yarn needle

The pattern design is based on a popular vintage slipper, but incorporates modern techniques and finishes, such as a finished edge at the leg, knit-in-the-round instep to alleviate the seam on the top of the foot, and it’s knit using multiple strands for a super bulky, beautifully thick, and toasty warm slipper.

Pattern provides photos and sizes for Women’s (one size fits most) and Large/Men (one size fits most).
